Le Morte d'une Rose
TiredThis is the title of an "art series" I'm working on featuring, cliched enough, roses and death. I've been mulling over the idea since before school started, but I only just made little planning sketches a week ago. The ideas are highly distracting from my school work so I feel I should just spit it out in a journal and get back to work because, for once, I'm tired and want to go to sleep.
The series will be done entirely in ink. I'm hoping to get my hands on some Prismacolour markers in a few shades of red or I need to stock up on red Sakura microms. I'm just aiming for a really dark, detailed, dramatic look with lots of roses. There will be skeletons, blood, ect.
Hopefully I'll have something to show for these ideas soon.
Cosplay
Anyhow, so for this summer's SacAnime, I cosplayed Natsuo from Loveless! Yay! I'll be uploading pictures soon as I lack updates, but for now, if you go to page 73 of Cosplay.com's SacAnime, Day 1 photos, you'll find me and my Loveless group. I look gross in all the pictures except perhaps the closeup. I'll upload my own pictures soon.
Other Miscellaneous Art Related Things
I am starting now on my SacAnime art contest entries. If I put it off, I'll never finish. -__-;;
is in charge of making sure I enter...I already have both my entries planned out, so hopefull I make it. And manga contest ahoy! Maybe I'll actually get motivated to finish Searching for Spring.
School Activites
It's the beginning of the third week of school and I've joined Math Club, Speech & Debate, and Moot Court.
I plan on joining Mock Trial, Quiz Bowl, and Science Olympiad. And maybe one more club... Chinese club? Anyhow, I'm by no means going to aim to speak in Mock Trial. I've got enough speaking in Speech & Debate and Moot Court... I'm thinking along the lines of courtroom artist...
I'm going to be busy, busy, busy.
